This is our 2nd time here in 3 weeks. First time was for dinner and now breakfast. Service is impeccable and everyone is helpful and friendly. Food is made fresh and is delicious. It is clear to us the owners and staff take pride in their restaurant and parking lot area. the building inside and out along with bathrooms are nice and clean. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience great mexican food in a family friendly environment.

Overall Lozano's staff, value and atmosphere deserve a four star rating. I like to go for the lunch menu and happy hour specials.

I came here because of Tiffany C's review. I was expecting quite a lot. I can see some of the charm of this place. It's really a night club that serves Mexican food. The place has two sides. Ok, really three. There is a bar at one end, the restaurant in the middle and the overflow dining and stage area. Perhaps I'll come back some night to see when the place is really jumpin'. I will say that the place was pretty clean. All of the people there were very friendly and guided me through the large menu. Chips and salsa were brought to me table, but the salsa wasn't too interesting, it did have a little heat, but I think had some kind of goop in it to make it thicker. My choice off the menu was the beef brisket enchilada or burrito or something. Like the salsa, it wasn't very interesting. I was fairly certain that everything in it came out of a can. Ok, so the food isn't great, or perhaps I just didn't pick the best item on the menu. That doesn't diminish the fact that the people were super nice, and I can see this being a really fun place. Perhaps I'll go back and try something else. I think it's worth a second chance.

Wife was told this was a good spot and they are right. Extensive menu AND WE STARTED WITH 22 oz $5 Rita's that actually had some booze in them. She had a combo plate and loved it all. I took a shot on tostitio's with a shrimp & Guacamole, the tostado had a layer of mayo with nice warm pico & shrimp over guacamole. I must say they were outstanding!!!!!!!!!!! Even the chips & salsa they bring out with the drinks everything was great. Dessert was a Trey Leschese and it was out of this world. The waitress was sweet and personable and actually waited on us. Loved the place and it will be on the list of favorites for our new hometown. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The restaurant was clean but the seats and chairs were very uncomfortable and wobbled. The staff was very friendly but did not know the menu items and kept having to run to the back as I ordered my food to find out what each thing came with. The food is okay, as an appetizer we had chips and salsa which was about $3 for a small portion (not bottomless and overpriced). I had the chicken tacos as my meal and enjoyed them but they were a bit bland. The bar area looks run down and the arcade games on top of the Mexican music was just loud and annoying noise. I doubt I'll be back soon.

There are not a lot of eating options in this part of Lehigh Acres. Selection was minimal. We walked in and there literally was no staff in the restaurant for 10 minutes. We had to walk into the kitchen to announce that they had customers. Kitchen staffed seemed surprised but not too interested . A kitchen worker finally came out , peering a she looked for the waitress. Then after giving up took our order and brought us the stapled chips and salsa for a dollar. The chips and salsa were not homemade but stale and cardboardesque By the time we ordered apps, the waitress appeared, walking out of the bathroom. In the end, the food was not awful. Solid Pork a la Mexicana. But next time, I'm driving a lot further to eat.

This place is totally Chiquitto & Banditto approved!! Haven't been let down once & today was no different. Pork steak a la Mexicana & the Steak a la Mexicana are our favorites right now! Full of flavor & nice dices of spicy jalapeño! Today they had 3 female mariachi players, sounded great & sang a fun Cumbia for us! House margarita is so good! Look forward to going again.

Finally after 2 years I have found a real mexican Restaurant that has Barbacoa. Not the cut up steak but the real cow head meat. The place was nice, clean, and service was good. Had the mango drink that was really tasty. Nice bar area if your coming just to have drinks and watch the game. Definitely a 2nd trip is next week to have lunch.

This was my favorite restaurant for 3 years until today. When I arrived with my mother and friend, we sat down on a table that was a little dirty, so when the waitress came I told her about the table, she proceeded to use a dry napkin and pretended that I'd was already clean. We didn't think much of it. So we ordered the food, when it came my friends food was great as always but my mom's food had something we never seen, a bean soup the It was a very clear (kind of a chicken soup) and it had other stuff besides beans, so we called the waitress and told her about the usual beans my mom wanted, she then told us that they had always served those beans and that we were probably confused. ..i told her that I had come here for 3 years and we know those were not the beans. She told us she could bring us the beans but it will be extra...angry but I didn't want to argue so I told her it was ok. Then it became time for me to taste the food. Something (might had been the pico de Gallo or the guacamole) tasted awfully salty combined with the rice I couldn't touch that rice, so I call her again and explained that something that was added to the rice was really salty and if she can bring another rice and pico. She said ok and when she came back said that they tasted the rice and that it was ok. (I was already about to explode) but kept my composure and again explained that I knew it wasn't the rice, that it was something that was added to it. At this point she just wanted to make us feel that we were imagining stuff. My steak was a little salty and my mom's steak really hard to chew. They only one that had a normal dinner was my friend. At the cash register she ask us if we were tipping, I said no but my friend tipped 3 dollars (he was being nice, I wouldn't had left anything) the waitress was rude and the food was not good as usual. Used to be my favorite restaurant but I won't be back, I could forgive the food but not the service awful service

It's a good thing the food was satisfactory, otherwise, waiting over an hour, would not have been worth it. Their excuse was that they had two large parties, they're a restaurant, they should be used to being busy all the time, and there was no manager on duty tonight. I will not be coming back to the restaurant.

I love this Mexican restaurant in Fort Myers for so many reasons. Let me count the ways... 1.The guacamole is so fresh tasting and freaking delicious. 2.They do karaoke on Thursdays. 3.Their menu is huge and all the food I've tasted has been really good. 4.They also have dance nights where you know it's a party. 5.The staff is super friendly. 6.They serve margaritas that aren't too sweet in beer mugs and they carry green dos XX for Coach. 7.The very colorful decorations make everyone at least a little happier upon entering the building. Mmmm... tacos!

When I started writing reviews, I really told my self I didn't have the heart to give a business a bad review or one star, but today I really feel the need to do it... I took my fiance for lunch, and judging by what yelpers had said I was expecting at least some decent food, I was really in the mood for some good Mexican food, god I wish I knew what was coming... When we walked in through the door I was greeted by a young girl that I guess she was a greeter / busgirl, she was very nice and brought the menus right away. (I think she deserved 5 stars) After deciding what we wanted (and my fiance usually takes very long) we were sitting there waiting for the waitress for another 15 minutes, I guess the busgirl felt bad and she came and took the order for the appetizer since the waitress wasn't doing her job. As she took the order the waitress finally showed up and asked us what we were going to eat, she had such a stinking attitude, that at that moment I felt like walking out, but then again I was expecting good food, so we stayed. My fiance ordered the carne asada, and I got a combo texmex which is an enchilada, a burrito and a tostada (which now I realize I never got). Let me begin by telling you that I LOVE FOOD and I always finish eating everything on my plate (yes I'm a fat ass) my girl couldn't believe it when I took a few bites of my burrito and ate some rice and left everything on my plate... yup it was a first, the food was so nasty that I didn't even finish eating it, the enchiladas they used a nasty tasting ground beef that the only condiment it had was salt and it was salty at that, the burrito had the same nasty meat with some cheese and beans, this looked like can food, or cheap frozen food! I can get a better burrito at taco bell for a buck! My fiance's carne asada, which it wasn't even a skirt steak/entrana/churrasco that's the meat you are supposed to use, she got an old piece of some dried up meat, and guess what they put on top of it????? Tostitos mild dipping sauce!! Unbelievable! How does a place stays open for business? And then it clicked, alcohol... yup that is all it is once you are drunk off your ass you can probably eat sh** and you won't even notice... To top it off, she brought us the bill and took another 20 minutes to come pick it up so I had to get up and go pay for it at the bar... My suggestion, stay away and don't waste your money or time, you will regret it, unless you like to eat shi** then by all means go ahead and enjoy your big plate o' beeeeep....

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
